Inflammatory breast carcinoma (IBC)

Inflammatory breast carcinoma is a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer and occurs in 1% of breast cancer in women.
It usually presents with reddening and generalized inflammatory swelling of the breast and can mimic the presentation of a breast infection or mastitis.
IBC can grow and spread quickly and symptoms worsened rapidly within days and weeks.  It should be diagnosed and treated quickly
